American Architectural Manufacturers Association, commonly referred to as AAMA, is the leading industry association for fenestration products and components. AAMA recently concluded the lengthy process of establishing guidelines which determine whether a low pressure, single-component foam is suitable for sealing around window and door rough openings. The specification states that "an installed foam fill shall not distort the frame more than one-sixteenth (0.0625) inch along any side." Handi-Seal® is compliant with this new AAMA specification.
