FOMO PRODUCTS PARTICIPATES IN HABITAT FUNDRAISER

NORTON, OHIO – September 2005 – On September 3, 2005, Fomo Products and the Akron Beacon Journal participated in the “Parade of Playhouses.” The “Parade of Playhouses” was sponsored by the Tallmadge Lions Club members to raise money for the Summit County branch of Habitat for Humanity. Several local corporations, business and architectural students designed, constructed and donated playhouses for the auction. Fomo Products in cooperation with the Akron Beacon Journal designed a Giants Lair playhouse which was inspired by Hagrid’s cabin from Harry Potter.

Handi-Foam® Spray Foam was used to construct the faux stone walls, the mailbox, the fireplace and the walkway. Handi-Foam® Spray Foam was also used to join the faux stone walls to the frame of the playhouse. Handi-Stick® adhesive was used to seal and fill in any gaps/cracks between the stone walls and the frame. Fomo Products employees spent three weeks constructing the faux stone walls, sidewalk, fireplace, and mail box. As a result of those at Fomo Products and the Akron Beacon Journal, the Giants Lair playhouse was a top money maker for the Habitat for Humanity fundraiser.
